KnockFirst is just $1.99 per year with no ads, no upsells, and no complicated tiers. One subscription covers your entire family through Apple Family Sharing.
Q: Can I use KnockFirst on an iPad as a display?
Yes! KnockFirst includes a display-only mode perfect for shared devices like iPads. Place it in a common area so everyone can see the family's status at a glance.
Q: How many family members can I have?
Currently, KnockFirst supports up to 10 family members in a single family group.
Q: Do status updates work in real-time?
Yes! When someone changes their status, all family members see the update instantly thanks to real-time synchronization.

Yes, you can enable optional notifications in the app settings to be alerted when family members change their status.
Q: What if I forget my family code?
Your family code is always visible in the app settings. Any family member can view and share the code with new members.

How to Manage Your Subscription

All subscriptions are managed through Apple:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find KnockFirst and tap it
  5. Here you can view, cancel, or modify your subscription

Family Sharing

KnockFirst supports Apple Family Sharing, which means one subscription can be shared with up to 6 family members at no extra cost.

To enable Family Sharing:
Settings → Your Name → Family Sharing → Purchase Sharing

Refund Requests

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by KnockFirst. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find KnockFirst in your purchase history
  4. Click "Report a Problem" and follow the instructions
